    "Cookie coin" mystery solved: She's walkin' and he's flying :>)..here's pics

    Gentlemen who took guesses as to the identity of this coin: you are very sharp!

    It is a 1943 ( Dr,. Joe, now how did you know the correct date? ) Walking Liberty.

    Was hoping that it was a Barber...next time.

    This one's in better condition than others that I have found in the salty mud.


    Here's a couple of pics...check out the weight loss after the encrustation was removed.

    I use a 6 V battery with the electrolysis; originally had a "plug in" charger set -up, but it broke and haven't repaired it yet.
