You always need to remember to have it tied to you. That has saved me from losing mine when some guy slammed into me when he got trapped in a big wave. Scoops cost big bucks a shame to lose it.

Yeah. Dropped mine a couple of times in rough water. So far I've been able to spot the rubber orange grip as it sank and grab it. Or fish it off the bottom!
