I'm not sure if this is the right area for this but I think more beach hunters find sunglasses than anyone else.

Know a lot of people find a lot of higher end sunglasses on the beach with scratched up lenses, and toss them in the trash because of it. I know a way you can make them a part of the treasure pile. I have some micro mesh wet sanding pads that I've used on sunglasses and goggles that really clean them up and bring the shine back. You can't tell anything ever happened to them. It takes about half an hour to do and good as new.

You should be able to find them in hobby shops or online for around $6
