We're starting out on the NE tip of TN and working our way down to Chattagoona, up to Nashvuille, ond over to Memphis. We will hit any other spot inbetween that looks interesting. Any suggestions?

If you like fishing, try Dale Hollow Lake in Byrdstown (my area, lol). It's in northern middle Tennessee, near the Kentucky border. Great Smokey Mountains National Park is really beautiful too. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are the towns nearest it, and they are packed with things to do. Hope you enjoy wherever you go!

Scooting a gold ring to the shallows to pick it up is a tough recovery technique. You do need a long handled scoop quickly with those kind of finds. Nice going. HH. Ralph

Very nice ring!! Those blonde moments arent just for blondes, I am an old man and I may have caught a blonde brain disease from my blonde daughter in law. I forget why I went into a room lately.

YES, you need a long handled scoop. Scooting targets to shallow water is not easy. Results are nice when its gold, but scooting a pull tab to shallow water is a bummer. Happy Hunting. Papa
