14K and Tungsten - Last two freshwater hunts (pics added)

    Hi everyone,
Here are my finds from the last two swim area hunts. I've been going really early and have had it all to myself, except for a flock of geese that seem to have taken up residence there. Last week I found the tungsten band and the necklace. I think it might be sterling, but I haven't cleaned it up yet or checked for a mark. Today I found the gold ring and 40 cents. It's 14K and has five small diamonds. It was in chest deep water and took me quite awhile to scoot it to shallower water so I could pick it up. Got to get a long handled scoop! I'm sure I was a grinning fool after that . HH all!

Never heard that one before, lol.... Dang, I like that gold ring. I found the exact match for the tungsten ring a few weeks ago. Now, if I can only find the match for the gold one, lol.... Maybe in the morning.

Congrats on the gold with ice! I hate the tungsten rings. Every time I dig one up I think, ten or fifteen years ago that ring would have been gold. Although some of them are nice looking.

It is exciting to see tungsten and silver in your scoop but when that mellow yellow metal glitters with sparklers, it takes your breath away. Congratulations on you great find.
