Weekly beach hunt...strange ring.
All day water hunt with BigMike and Davidfl. We found five rings between us but Mike got the only gold. I got a stainless steel band and a junker gold ring and other junk jewelery. 72 coins...the most Ive ever dug... $7.51 in coins. The steel band has a small diamond or CZ set inside the band where the markings are...has anyone ever seen a stone on the inside of a ring?

Awesome finds. Have never seen a stone mounted inside a ring before.

Good assortment of goods. I once talked to a jeweler who was from India. He was telling me rings worn by Hindus' have the stone set so that it touches their flesh. But a SS is off norm for that group. I think they prefer 22K. Strange.

The stone is not on the inside of the ring. You are holding the ring inside-out.

You may be on to something because I found out that some countries use a different ring sizing system than we use in the U S. The number 64 stamped in my ring is the same as size 11 in the U S.
