    Hit it hard today, prettymuch dug late-morning until evening. Had a slow start, ran into some unique digging conditions, turned out to be somewhat of a blessing in disquise after figuring out how to deal with it. Ended up being a great mixed-bag kinda day!

    rc, you have some very nice finds there.

    The 1830 on the religious medal refers to the year of the apparition of Blessed Mother to St. Catherine in which she explained details of the image to be placed on the medallion.

    Nice days haul, I like the world's fair bracelet and the Kinnaman token/badge thing?

    Also the nickels aren't silver unless they are 1942-45 and have large mint mark on the back.

That chicago fair bracelet is really cool!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Im down here in northwest indiana (schererville) if your gonna be around the dunes a wouldnt mind me traipsin along (newbie detector) maybe you could contact me . If not thats cool too, Soon I hope to get up to Washington Park there in michigan city and hit the beech there and by the dunes, that is if detecting is allowed. I was in portage a fewweeks ago and they do not allow hunting on that beach. Oh well I will find my way. Great finds, congratulations and happy hunting.
