There's nothing wrong with a nice beach party.
But I'm not too unhappy I NEVER meet any other detectorists in the water on the beaches here in Germany. You might see one dry sand hunter maybe once a month. So there's not much partying on the beach here (but no competition either). HH

Great find...... must have been a lot of detector cross talk with all those people. I like crowds.... but really preferr those with out detectors lol.

 Fenway
Had a great time with all of you guys! We certainly gridded the heck out of that place! I was happy to see that beach finally cough up some hardware, and diamonds too!
Nice job guys and congrats, look forward to hooking up with you all again soon.
Happy hunting!

It was GREAT, even for a Cape Coder who has only seen a few other detectorist this summer. Unforunately the gold looking earring turned out not to be gold. One BIG beach that can accomodate at least the 13 detectorist that I saw and could dig so many targets, it was FUN. Thanks to Plymouthian12 for the invite, the taxi service, and coffee, what a host. If only he could fix his detector to find some larger gold and his first platinum, just so he would have something else to grip about.
May the ring of gold be in you ears and the glitter in your scoop!
