So , as I said before, we had the finals of the Open here yesterday so I went to the main beach area early this morning...
I just had to laugh! There were so many people with detectors that it looked like a Metal Detector convention! They were skimming about, criss-crossing each other in sort of a panic.
Not to be outdone I went around the concession stands and bleachers instead.
I only had an hour and a half to spare.
The only good hit was a hoop ear-ring of silver.
I will go back tomorrow and go in the water!

I'm really glad I almost NEVER meet or even see another detectorist on my beaches here in Germany. There are more now than - let's say - 5 years ago, but still not many.
