I found a similar 10k white gold man's band with 5 diamonds. 10k is less than 1/2 gold, so the gold value is small. I jewelery store that buys gold and diamonds offered me $50. Obviously retail is much more than that and you can probably get more than that on ebay or craigslist. He said that small diamonds are not worth much. Of course one time my wife lost a small diamond from her engagement ring and it cost $100 to have it replaced, so I guess the value of small diamonds to a jeweler depends on whether you are buying them or selling them. If you know the weight of the ring in grams you can find several gold value calculators on the net that can tell you the value of the gold alone. Super hunt for your first time at the beach. It took me months of beach hunting to find my first gold ring.

WORTH A LOT OF SATISFACTION!!
Look up gold price on Karat Kalculator, you must have the weight. Most diamods are not worth much because of being poor quality but some are worth a lot. See a jeweler!

Beach Papa said it right....the mark up on jewelry is insane. Go try and buy something like that and they want to charge you a small fortune. Find one and try to sell it back to them.....its not worth much because of this or that. Its a great find, especially on your first time out, congrats.

Good luck! The funny thing is that the ring was only the third thing I found, after a bottle cap and a fake necklace. And It was only like 30 min after I started, on my first ever beach hunt. Got me pretty pumped up for the rest of the week, but that was the only gold I found.

I can't believe I didn't notice this before, but I was looking at the silver charm and noticed that there are 4 small diamonds on the ends of the shoes. Hopefully they're real! Though probably not worth much, they add value.

P.S.-By the way I am thinking of upgrading to the Garrett AT Pro by selling this stuff in combination with some cash and selling my F2.
