Does This Count?

While out detecting one of the Atlantic coast beaches in the torrential rain, husband and I found a beautiful LL Bean wool blanket. It was on the beach when we got there at 1:00pm and still there when we left at 10:00 pm. It now has a new home. Looked it up in the LL Bean catalog and it sells for $189.00! What a find! (Can I nominate myself for a Banner? ...I'm kidding of course!)

Great find!!! I have a couple as throws on a couple chairs but I had to buy them. Evidently they didn't want to get sand in the car.

I was a beachcomber before I started detecting. Anytime we stayed at a motel at the beach, me and my son would walk the beach after dark. People on vacation leave all kinds of stuff on the beach that they bought just to use while they were there...chairs,umbrellas, floats...you never know what you will find.
