Hit the beach at 5 am this morning and just had one of those days. Came out of my slump real quick when I got the 14K mens wedding band on my 5th or 6th hole. About 20 minutes later came the womens sterling silver ring. I had just filled the hole in when BAM....two feet away......I found the ring to rule all rings! Bilbo Baggins is probably still looking for his ring!! I immediatley felt the presence of the Nazgul stalking me so things slowed down after that until I was just about to head to the car when I found the heart shaped locket. It has what appears to be small diamonds on the front.....most likely CZ. (yes, I know I should buy my own tester). Awsome hunt....

I'm glad I didnt lose you on the Lord of the Rings reference......unfortunatley, "Precious" is not gold. I've been looking on the internet, its either plated tungsten or plated bronze. It was funny to find.....I've never seen one.

The 14K band was 9.3 grams, gold value $295.00.

There is approx 57 stones in the locket.....no chance they are real. if your going to put that many rocks in something, it would be gold my guess instead of silver.

Loved the Lord of the Rings reference. Look like great finds to me. Forgive me for being so naive, I'm new to treasure hunting, but what do most people do with their finds? keep, sell, give away...?

Bummer that LOTR ring is a fake, I have foud a few but all were pot-metal and looked like junk when I dug. Yours certainly looks real. Congrats on the rest of your great finds!
