Sure looks heavy as hell! You can get scoops just as good for much less. Check out RTG scoops

Too heavy for me...my 6 inch rtg weighs 4 pounds...paid 130 for it.

looks indistructable but at 6.5? pounds is very heavy. kinda expensive but interesting!

If your a young guy thats the scoop you want, It's a little biger and better made than the one I bought for 132 dollars.:icon_thumleft: If your going in the water ti won't be heavy at all. Happy hunting.

Check out this prostock scoop. They r bout $160 plus $15 for shipping and these are great. I got the handle from Ace hardware, brass orings from sea sport scuba shop. I made quick connect so i can clip to my floating sifter or belt. Plus i can put rope over my shoulder and carry it on shoulder. I'm going to add one of those plastic handles in middle front. This will give more leverage in wet sand and so i dont break handle. These r well made and i think prostock only has bout 4 left. The guy who made these doesnt make anymore so when there gone, they r gone.
