We did not find much loot today, but we had a great time on the obx. John ran into a fellow in a chevy pickup full of detectors – “Jason”

Plenty of burned beer cans, pull tabs, little clad and some sinkers – one little star pendant deal – no biggy

Great pictures Max!

I hunted south of the pier in Aug. and had about the same luck as you guys. Hurricane Isabel really rocked that area a few years ago. Most of the pieces from Jeanette's pier ended up in the Sea Foam Hotel ( 4th picture). They brought in lotssss of sand in 04 to rebuild the beach. I followed a bulldozer around behind the Sea Foam for 2 days hoping he would drag something up for me to find.

Gonna have to make a trip soon!!

Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics with us Northeners! Even if you didnt make a haul,it looks like just being on the beach with friends was a good treasure!
