I'm posting this as a reminder for everyone else, more or less. I screwed up and forgot my cellphone was in my pocket when I hit the water. It was a costly mistake. Stupid move.

Could have been worse. I once dropped my cell phone in the toilet. That's what I get for texting...

I left this one on the roof of the car several weeks back, someone saw it in the middle of the road and saved it for me. Only to die an early death a mere few weeks later.

Ugh. I was actually afraid to go underwater so I stayed in the shallows because I just replaced the batteries and ran out of silicone and wasn't sure if I had enough on there.

My cellphone is one of the g'Zone "indestructible" phones. Dunno about all that, but it is supposed to be waterproof up to 3 feet. So hopefully I would realize as soon as I got in the water. I have done some texting in the shower and changing my music, still running fine.
