Hit the beach after work the word must have got out the beach was packed with skimmers. No Not you Ronnie D. After a quick chat with Mr. DeGhetto I headed south. I was digging a steady amount on my short run down the beach.I hit a favorite spot of this last year and it had been picked over there were holes all over the place. All the junk earings the 14k St. christopher Metal and about 17 nickles ...came out of that same area, that was pock marked. The Bracelet is .925 and was a deep dig I had thought it sounded low enought to be gold but after the first two scoops it started to ring out silver! The balled up silver chain was deep also. Very few of the coins were less that a big scoop many were two scoops. Most hit really soft and could have easily been missed.two of the quarters are silver 52 & 64 crusted coin is a wheat. 25 p 27 n 15 d 46 q total of 113 coins Used the Excaliber to

Nice haul! Congrats on the Saint Christopher gold medal. It's a shame they took him off the sainthood, guess it was too much legend.

Good job on a late season hunt!!!!

As for all the holes there is a hunter on your beaches who posted finds elsewhere. He has a rep for unfilled holes. Some guys you just can't reach!!!

We have a good cut down here in Brigantine 30 yards from the water. Im finding a ton of change about half way to the water but no jewlery yet. The change is old with all the plating missing on the quarters. How long does it take for a new quarter to become completly copper? Im liking my new scoop from Digatto. It slices through the heavy sand real well. but I do keep loosing the chunk of sand hanging on the lip.

Pretty good for a NJ beach hunt
Not sure of this comment, but about average day on NJ beaches this time of year. Soon we will have counts in the several hundreds a day, if its stands to be a normal year.Just hoping we get sand movement in short events, not one big storm again.
