NYwh, I am in a dry suit. I think the lakes are a tad chilly to even be in a 7mm wet suit. Guess it depends on ones comfort level and how quick hypothermia sets in. I know folks are diving the ocean in wet suits but the ocean is a lot warmer than the lakes. You still diving/detecting in a wet suit? Best of luck on your next outing.

Don't have a dry suite but my two partners do. They haven't been diving. If I had one, I sure as heck would be. The weeds are down and the lakes are very clear.
We have been wading with fishing waders. The water is very cold now. Some thin ice on ponds.
Headed out Sat and Sunday.
