That's a beauty of a ring and I agree very high karat....there seems to be a stamp on the inside opposite the rings face or maybe I'm just seeing a shadow.

Do you have a weight on it?

They don't make jewelry out of 24 kt gold - it would be too malleable. Closest piece I ever saw was a man's ID bracelet, 8 ounces, 22 kt. gold that I won in a card game in Chu Lai, RVN in August of 1968. Sold it in 1974 and got $32.00 and ounce for it - if I'd only known!
