Me and a hunting buddy headed out early to do some digging. But there was no way we could water hunt with those swells. So we did a little sand kicking. We were busy doing community service picking up trash and clad. I hit a great sounding target.... it was a few inches deep and i could here the cling cling of metal in the scoop. Looked in..... nice! Had my eyes squinting to see what it was inside. PT950.... 8.4 grams close to a full K stone.... with add ons. Who says theres nothing in the sand?

Deb.... hope your Christmas Party went well, sorry i missed it. That Les is the one with the Midas touch. Im just out there like a blind squirrel working my tail off for an occasional nut. We tried it today...... NASTY NASTY out here. Red Tide has moved in with all the huge swells you cant be on the beach long. So tomorrow may call for another road trips.

Surfdigger there were two of us and we were working it pretty careful willing to dig anything that made an Xcal beep. I was just lucky no one had grabbed this one up.... right on the edge of the wet/dry sand line just a couple of inches down.
