Took a little recon adventure and found this the other day. Thought it was one chain but ended up being a matching set....necklace and bracelet attached together. When I first saw it dangling from my scoop I was hoping to find the ship's anchor on the other end but no such luck. :laughing7: Cleaned up pretty well.

Thats got to be one of the heaviest amounts of silver to come up in a scoop...has anyone ever come up with more silver in one scoop? Awesome find bigscoop.

When I found them they were linked together, so about 32" of 14mm x 10mm silver chain links. :laughing7:

That's exactly how it panned out, Hammid. :icon_thumleft: Saw what looked to be a small step/bench forming in the wet sand at high tide and took a little stroll out that way to check it out and that's right where the chain was found.

Very cool! Nice to see someone finding stuff. Been striking out big time. So you found it at high tide??

Yep, high tide, what would typically be high up on the wet sand at low tide in most places. But other then a big black lead sinker it's all I found that morning.
