Take it to the Mel Fisher Treasure Museum in Sebastion. I'm sure someone there would be more than happy to assist. HH.

It's a broken Celtic cross. Bottom extension is missing. Used by Spanish and others.

Hi

I do not know if is silver. The bottom is broken off. I found it On the beach not in water.

I going to make time to go to Mel Fisher Treasure Museum. Thanks for the info.

I went first to Chuck's Steakhouse and nothing lot's of people detecting the beach. Got back into the car and started to go back home then I stop for one last try and then there it was.

Verrrrrryyyyy Interesting!

Another Celtic Cross was found at then end of last year on the beach down at Corrigans. The post is probably still around here somewhere. Its now listed on Bob Weller's site. Its a little different than yours but still Celtic.

The thing about these crosses is they are more popular than ever today and most are made of silver. Does it have any marks on the back that you can see? I am interested in seeing if we can't get a better date on when it was made.

Great Find! Keep up the good work!

You said you found it at Chuck's Steak House?
