It has been slim pickings lately but with the number of folks hunting the water it's no wonder. Although all the guys I've spoken to recently claim that this has been the worst year they have had. I feel kind of bad for them since they come here each year specifically to MD. The rough water and sanded in conditions have not been kind and the number of visitors seems to have dropped off regardless of the claims made by the tourism authority.
Submitted for your viewing is this past weeks finds. A handful of coins, some costume jewlery pieces, a ring marked 950 and this morning's find an 8 gram 14K white gold band
I have to research the 950 marking. It looks silver and smells like silver but it doesn't have much weight to it. I know some countries mark their silver differently. We'll see.
