BP Digger Goes Fishing & Hooks A Buffalo 3-22

On Friday morning I headed far far south to the waters of Mr. Striper in hopes of diggin something unusual...

It was a chilly day with the winds gusting at like 20-25 mph out of the West and the sun coming in and out..
Luckily for me I brought my trusty digging tool and was busy walking and digging most of the 4 hours plus I spent out there.
.
Nothing really remarkable or valuable, but a nice assortment of finds including only my second Buffalo nickel since getting the Excal 18 months ago.
.The Buff came out of the sand in really nice shape and probably the nicest I have ever found..

All in all it was a fun hunt with a load of exercise

Were you detecting on shell/gravel bottom?
Just out of currosity, how many trips back to the vehicle did you have to make to haul all of that out,
