The powders, they come in different grades, usually "coarse, fine, pre-polish, polish, etc." They also come in different materials depending on what you are tumbling and to what extent you wish to either clean or polish your items. You can do a search for polishing grits as there are several sources and tutorials in regards to these different processes.

im just cleaning up coins I dug from the beach and water to roll up to bring to the bank.. nothing special...

Out of curiosity, has any one tried clean coarse beach sand to clean coins in a tumbler
