GOLD COIN!!! (Updated Photo's)

I always wanted to find a gold coin, and I finally did. I was an hour and forty minutes into a 2 hour hunt when I dug the gold coin. Man it made my day. The coin is a 1915 Austria 1 Ducat with "Franc iOS IDG Avstriae Imperator" on the front. It is .986 fine (23 3/4 carats). The site I got my info said this about the coin "among the highest purity gold coins ever issued for circulation". The bezel is stamped .750 (18k).

I also dug a 3 gram platinum ring.

Thanks everyone! Now I have to try to fine the necklaces. I had the perfect one for it a few months ago but sold it to a Friend. It was 20 grams of 18K found at the same beach, although no where near the coin.

It is a banner find for me, how do you top a gold coin? Gold bar...I don't know how the banner thing works though, I guess enough people would have to nominate it. Maybe if I reposted it in the today's finds or My best find forum more people would see it. I will be honest, I did not actually think that this would be one of my bucket list items that I would find. Seeing it in my scoop will be burned in my memory for ever I think.
