Guess every day can have a silver lining. Met up with Ken today and we tried a couple of spot that might produce some Pirate Booty and boy were we wrong. Hardly any signals. I was lucky to dig up 2 small silver rings. Left ring is silver and has small diamond chips , opal on sides and an amethyst in the center. The other is silver with turquoise. Luck was a Lady today.

couple of beauties Les. Ive noticed they are putting more real diamonds on silver now. I got one the other day and had to prove to the wife they were real diamonds.

Nice rings there, had a silver ring that was stolen from my wifes apartment (was my first silver ring detecting find probably) was sterling silver with turquoise and red coral triangles, don't think thats the same ring but every-time I see one like it. The bad memories come flooding back of the friction it caused. And all the disappointment from not being able to find it in the apartment anywhere.

Congrats! :hello2::hello2::hello2: very nice rings!

I love the way older beach silver comes out that distinctive purple/gray color ... not the kick of seeing that yeller stuff....but pretty darn close!
