Had to settle for silver yesterday morning. Gold has become an elusive fellow, keeps hiding from Ken and I. Found 2 silver rings. The heavy silver with a love knot had a bench mark I don't recognize which is a candle holder of 3 lighted candles and J A below it. Anyway it was an enjoyable day with PLENTY of exercise.

I know there is gold out there but it must be buried deep out of detector range. I have been digging very deep quarters, and nickels but this fellow ain't finding that heavy yellow.

I'm frustrated too! After many hours at the local beaches, I'm not finding any loot. Looked for a lost necklace yesterday without any luck. Maybe the sandraker got it. I'll try my cz21 again soon. The excal may not be going deep enough. 4 people asked me to help them find their lost prescription glasses. So far no glasses in my scoop.

Nice Silver Les.... guess it just has to do until some sand moves for now....unless you get lucky on a fresh drop.....They sure do make some real pretty silver rings! Best I could do today is an antique 12 kt gold filled bracelet and it was deep too.

Me either Les..... at least you are getting the silver, i got 2 the day before.... tung and small silver. They are leaving us the left overs. But at least we are getting the left overs i know a few that aint getting that even. Id take a couple of hunts like that if i could find one of those chains you grabbed up. Those are nice rings.

Those are very nice silver ring finds, Les. The ring on the right looks likes one of those Cowboy belt rings; are the parts movable?

No movable parts on that ring. I am stil wondering about the hallmark on the other ring.
