My days off stink right now, Tuesday/Wednesday and I'm 63 so I can't hunt all day long like I used to 30 years ago. My get up and go has got up and went.
I use a Minelab Excalibur and a Whites Amphibian. Anyone hunts with me better have a water machine. I have secret locations that only a few hunt them. I don't like hunting by myself, safety factor. I'm more apt to get out early if I have a hunting partner because I won't let them down unless its storming real bad. I don't hunt during lightning storms, its not healthy. I hope for better days off in the late Fall.

I am 71 and if you think you have it bad, just wait. I enjoy getting out now while I can as I was laid up last year. I am able to get in the water again and my knees won't let me get up for digging a penny. The water is cooler and the bugs only try to bite my face. The eye candy is better at the beach as the eyes haven't gotten bad yet. But I forget why I am looking...:icon_scratch:

Good Luck.. FLaurthor all good valid points......... I'm in need of a fulltime hunting partner, who can get out at least 5 days a week. And I understand the need for safety reasons to have someone along. Luckly my friend Fireman J can do a day about once a week.......joe
