Depends on what part of the world you live. I have only found 1 stainless ring, but Platinum is common.

Forget the Gold, I fantasize about a Grand Slam from Denny's. We have Curry & Rice for Breakfast here in Japan!

After more thought, I will take the Gold too!

It should be three separate pieces. A 14K ring with a diamond chip and a Pt.900 ring would not work. IMHO

A huge signal leading to digging up a safe the size of a mini bar fridge, full of money, gold, diamonds and other precious stones... Oh... And a Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Omega and a Patek Philippe... And a key to another huge safe in the bank... Hahaha

A guy can dream?

My grand slam day would be a Rolex or a BIG plat with a BIG diamond on a HUGE 18K gangsta chain.

A friend of mine suggested this:

A silver pull tab
A red pull tab
A green pull tab
A gold pull tab

I like it. Sounds like something I could easily accomplish! :laughing7:

With so many quality finds being posted all the time I couldn't help but wonder what might be considered as the "Grand Slam" of modern beach detecting? Silver ring, gold ring, plat ring, silver chain, gold chain? :dontknow:

My grand slam is just being lucky enough to go metal detecting, for me its the thrill of the hunt, all the other things (gold/silver rings, coins, extra) is just a bonus.
Meeting new people that are just getting started and sharing what little knowledge I have of this hobby

I fell very fortunate to be able to afford the time and money it takes to go metal detecting.

That's my grand slam
