It's a good sign when the musketballs and bullets are showing up. I found out some of the lead balls i thought were musket balls were accually from a mortor round. I found a semi intact one in spring lake once.

Yes I was thinking that to but yes am happy they r showing up. I just started working the area so hope a lot more to come

I'm hoping so.I did find a quarter sitting rite out in open on top of cut Sunday so the high tide cuts do really work.but if beach is bad I hit the woods.lol

Depends which beaches you are hunting. newly replenished, even with cuts, are still way too sanded in to yield much. Not saying they won't work, just that probability not on our side. Still only way to find out is to go and give them a good swing.
