BACK FROM FLA. TRIP

Temps in New England in the 30s and 20s - went to Fla. for a few to hunt it's warmer waters
weather was against me most of the trip
did not hunt nearly as much as I'd hoped
got in Sunday afternoon - hunt about 1 1/2 hr before sunset
Monday - waters were way to rough - even for me - went to casino - I won $100 - my girlfriend won $300
I went to Ft Laud. before sunset - got in and got bashed by waves - did wet sand for about an hour - few coins and foo dog
Tues. went across to Gulf side and hooked up with Ron Lord - hunted about 3 hrs with him
Weds. waters calmed - went to SOBE = all soft sand - few coins
jumped in at a few more spots heading north = all sanded in -probably hunted 4 hrs for the day
Thurs. hunted beach out from my hotel - went about a mile in the water (waters were rough again) still no holes or hard bottom
got out and headed back towards hotel in the wet sand - got a lot of coins = spent about 4 hrs hunting before having to pack and head home
here is the take from the trip (not one of my best Fla. trips) at least I got gold
276 COINS = OVER $12

Casper, I'm sorry I didn't notice you were down here, till you mentioned you were in SoBe and Laud. I woulda come down and at least bought ya'll a coffee and/or breakfast. Glad you got at least a little gold from down here. That's what it's usually like, either feast or famine. I had a hectic last few days.

I ran in to Ron on Marco Island a few yrs back myself. Proved good luck as I came out that day with 3 nice rings, 2 of 'em gold.
Come down again soon and be sure to pm me. I may have some free buffet coupons for the casino!
