LOL so you like us Canuckistanians!! Puzzled about endangering the elderly and kids...I take it you mean the driving? Many snowbirds come from a province known for leadfooted drivers.

Yup, we're freezing up here, Ron; this morning as I was driving to church, the rain froze as it hit the windshield; dangerous for sure.

It's warming up now..was around 10* earlier

The only thing snow is good for is covering up the dog turds in the back yard. Lol!

Put Rain-X on your windshield and ice won't stick to it.

:hello2::hello2::hello2:I love when snow up North because all those snowbirds Come to Fl. and leave their Gold in our waters. Now I don't like it when endangers the very old and kids.
We Idahoans like it 'cause it keeps the riffraff out. Leaves the good country for us hardy souls....LOL

A bit cool here today, don't think it made it much above 72. Wind chill was down around 70. Was in the water the other day and thought my nipples were going to get cold enough to shatter. :laughing7:

Ours will be low in mid 50s here when this front pushes through this afternoon. Be safe with those space heaters.

Hate to disappoint you Jim in Idaho! A few of us got in. I'm from central Texas and although I miss being down there, I sure have enjoyed the climate up here. I got here in 2007. The first winter 07-08, I saw more snow than I've seen in my lifetime. Since I'm retired, I can sit and watch the snow come down while I sit in my easy chair and sip hot chocolate or coffee!
No, I didn't see a lot of snow in Texas, but some, and some cold weather. In 82 (?) I measured from 11 to 13 inches in my backyard in Waco. I've seen -11 degrees down there too. I think 109 degrees was the hottest I saw in Texas. I've 113 up here in Mountain Home. I'll try to be out there with the detector as soon as the weather gets a little warmer. Some of the meds that I take makes the cold feel a lot worse than a few years ago. When we first got here, I could go out at night for 20 to 30 minutes with my house shoes, regular shirt and pants, with a medium weight jacket. Now, I'm going to dig out the long johns later today!!
