I'm taking a trip to north jersey (monmouth county) , and was wondering if it would be worthwhile to detect the beaches there considering all of the post Sandy replenishment ? I would be grateful for any ideas or input . I'll be there the weekend of March 7th. Thanks.

I was out yesterday (Ocean Co.) and got a few items and a little gold. There is a lot of debris still buried in the sand. But it can be productive if you are in the right area and you know your machine. Try to get out about an hour or so before low tide.
