Started scanning the Huntington Beach Dog Beach at 5AM today for the third time this week. I should have known when I scooped a charm that looked like the middle finger pointing at me, that the morning would not go well for finding gold. I found some clad, cool rusted key, tow truck, and whats left of a toy truck bed.

I decided to pack up and try the area around the pier. I found more clad, a Christopher, and then I scooped a gold band in the wet sand. I thought to myself ... YES! It was still somewhat dark out, so I just put the band in my pocket and continued on looking for more.
When I got home and took a closer look at the band and noticed it was plated, I realized that I got the middle finger twice today :)

Oh! Well! That's Metal Detecting ... Thanks for Looking ... HH

At lest it wasn't a person giving you the finger! And it looks like you had a hand....or paw help with the digging!
Congrats on your finds, you'll snag gold tomorrow, it can't elude you for long!

Thanks Msbeepbeep ... no real fingers flipped at me while md'ing... yet.
Yeah, that's my dog. She goes on my early morning beach hunts several time a week. I put her back in my vehicle around 7 before the authorities start barking at me to get her off the beach.
