Hi,

It was cold & windy out there mid-day, but the sunshine felt good. I had to get out; hunted for 2 hours and enjoyed every minute of it.:headbang:

Hunted around rocky areas at low tide, and although "pickins" were slim, I did manage a small silver earring.

After so many weeks without finding any treasures, I was glad to see the bit of silver.

(The oar, and the bracelet segment were found in a prior hunt.)

I like the pickle fork; I believe that the Co. is vintage and the fork looks like standard hotel flatware; there were many hotels in this area in the early 1900's.

You are all doing so well; keep up the great detecting!

Here's some pics, and thanx for looking

Lorraine

Good for you, I like the cross. Winter has been horrible everywhere, but at least you get to squeeze a hunt or two in between storms.

Those are some cool looking finds. Old finds hold the adventure of finding out what they are. The after the hunt examinations is another fun aspect of the hobby. Thanks for the pics

Some very interesting finds indeed. That wooden cross is different, I like it. I'm surprised it isn't silver.

Hey Lorraine, I found the match to that ear ring at Hunting Island a couple of years ago. Glad you were able to get out and hunt again.
