So after work ATProUser and I went to Huntington Beach to hunt. It wasn't exactly the best weather. Cold windy and even a bit of rain. I didn't mind the weather so much as the crappy finds. Nothing good to show total clad for me was 16 cents. Yippee

RM, the pics are great; looks like a relaxing place to hunt. I find the same "stuff" most of my hunts.

I wish you the best on your next detecting adventure.

I hate those ketchup packets, they give such a nice sound. Your hitting the right targets, gold will come...good luck.

Well thanks for the photos...and you did clean up the beach a little. :hello2:

My experience at Huntington has never been too great...I found the blanket line well scoured of all finds but actually did find a few coins in the dry sand higher up on the beach.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I do my part on beach clean up that's for sure. I'm currently using a minelab 305 with a 5x10 at 18khz so it's mainly dry sand searching for me I get plenty of foil. Here's a pick from a normal run at HB

That is very true. I've been at this for only two months or so. We started with another friend of ours and after three outings he more or less lost interest.

definitely wasn't a great day on finds or the weather. But I still won on the clad :)

I don't do it for the money I do it for the hunt and for fun. When I have had enough fun I go home. All the rest is Cake! What price can you put on scenery like that?
