I returned home 3 days ago after spending a week in Florida. Moved my son out of the dorms for the summer and then we took a little road trip looking for a new place to live. My contract here ends in about 8 months and we're hoping to get assigned to one of the Florida offices. We hit Cocoa beach and went for a walk on the beach. During a mile walk I saw 3 MDers. I told me wife that if I had brought my machine with me she would not see me for at least 24 hours. Man there is a lot of sand there.

First 2 days home brought a handful of Venezuelan coins and some junk jewelry. One of the junk rings I thought was sure to be silver but it was some plated crap. Then this morning I scored an 18K band with a very small ruby mounted on the inside of the band. Weighs in at 10 grams and is a huge sized ring. A couple US coins to round out the day.

Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

Man, enjoy where you are now. The ratio of hunters to good finds, at least what I see in this part of Fla., is pretty dismal. The beaches here are so expansive. And some sand needs to move. Your finds are awesome. HH :icon_queen:
