Got out with Lookindown for an absolute marathon. Got to the beach a little after 8am and left a little before 8pm. Over 11 hours in the water with factory set up CZ21's and Stealth scoops. Talk about a workout. Not even an hour in I got that beautiful middle tone and yelled over to LD that this target had a chance. Two scoops later I found what I think is my first palladium ring. The super small diamond tests good.

Neither of us could read the writing inside and by the look and weight assumed it was gold. I immediately resumed where I left off and what seems like only a few minutes later I got a high tone that I figured was another coin and this 14K beauty shows up in the Stealth.

An hour in and two good one's in the pouch. I figured I would look like Mr. T by the end of the hunt but it wasn't to be. I got what I think is a silver that may have belonged to Moses.

Here's the rest of the stuff minus the real junk.

We had a great time. The water was warm and clear. I love hunting clear water. We finally left after 12 hours at the beach and I don't think either of us really was ready to go. Can't wait for this weeks adventure.

Been to fla beaches about 9 times and I never want to leave and come home. Too much sand and too little time. rwd mo

:wav:That does it! Move over, Mike...I'm movin' to Florida!( I wish!)

Congratulations on superb detecting and the beautiful finds.:notworthy:

If I ever did 12 hrs. detecting, they'd have to carry me off the beach on a gurney! ( But I'd be still sweeping the sand on the way out) :laughing7:

I 'm guessing that the silver ring has an Onyx stone in it. I would love to see that ring cleaned and posted.

Thanks Lorraine.... I have no idea how to clean silver (other than a tumbler). I have a feeling this one it too far gone anyways but I'll make you a deal. If you PM me an address to send it to I will send it as long as you'll try to clean it up and post a pic then you can have it. It's of no use to me as is anyways.

Wow. I love seeing pics of electrolysis. Amazes me that the crustiest items can come back to life. Great clean up job

Big congrats there Mike! Glad to see you get some goodies! You don't see palladium very often.
