My first Spanish Silver

I don't know what it is. Maybe some of you can help me.
I would like to say that I found it from a ship wreck but I believe someone else found it first.


I went to where everyone rafts up (Redneck Yacht Club). Lots of beer tabs and junk jewelry. The Spanish Silver and the 5 pound brass ships bearing were about the best of it. The ring was stainless.




And this shell drove me nuts!!!

Fantastic!!!!! Looks like a two or three real cob. But be careful many places sell those knock off silver in a gold setting. Have a professional look at it. Still NICEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

The number is a little obscured so I know where you're coming from but there is no such thing as a 3 reale.

Stellar find! Your coin is a two reale .. From the style of cross on the obverse I'm guessing Lima or Potossi mint.
Definitely looks like an Atocha coin.
The Atocha sank in 1622.
The denomination is in the legend.. I circled it. (2)
