Over the past years I would come across the metal pieces that I'm pointing to. They are not magnetic and wanted to know if anyone could identify the pieces. Fort Sheridan was once an active military base. I often find things related to that time and wondered the same of these.

Hi Penny,
I'm surprised no one has chimed in yet but they remind me of keyways of some sort!
I could be way off on this but very cool and unusual finds!

They look like shims of some sort! They have the look of magnesium , are they light or heavy?

Maybe it was some kind of cargo that got dumped since they really don't seem to be otherwise identifiable.
