Great hunt today at bottle cap beach. Take a look at the trash pile after about 6 hours. No wonder I am hungry. The 2nd item I dug up was the huge 25g silver cross. As I was walking it over to my water bottle to rinse off, I get this loud chirp and hit the TC or steel spinner ring (my first). So I am thinking this is already a great hunt and it's barely light and I am 10 minutes in. 15 minutes later in my grid patten I pop the 14K 4.1g wedding band! I also hit a silver bracelet and fossil earring in the wet sands too. To top it off, $8.75 in clad.

Good luck out there!

Sal.

The trash sure nub looks real, easy to see how the beach got its name.
I don’t know about that cross – looks too good to be real.
The jewelry looks unusually clean, like mostly fresh drops on dry sand, or OR, Nawh you wouldn’t do that.
Where’s the clad? Show us the clad!
Hope, all the clad did not end up in the parking meter.

Just Kidding around!
Congrats on one great hunt.

. All are fresh drops in the wet sand between the tide lines. I hunt the beach weekly to catch the fresh drops before they get sanded in. The bottle caps and change mostly come for the dry as the tide chases me up.
