'Silver' chain

Hello,
ducked off for a quick beach hunt tonight ( too busy lately)
The beach looked like it had been recently graded- possibly to remove sand contaminated by sewage lately ( beaches here are gross), so I mainly stayed up on the high sands.
Lots of targets- mostly old, small denomination coins.
However, I did find a masquerade blingy pendant, after re-scanning the hole I found a very clean looking silver ( at least in colour) chain hallmarked 'NC'

Anyone know what NC stands for? Cant find any info online

Also found a school badge pin, a few old keys and two old looking buttons.

If its not stamped 925 I doubt its silver. Probably NC is the manufacturer maybe stainless steel, especially with no tarnish...

That chain does look good. They got tests on ebay cheap. Thanks for sharing.
