Finally someone has got it right... who ever designed this used the triangle to take all the stress off the point where the handle is connected to the scoop. I see so many home made and mass produced scoops break where the two parts join. All that is holding these two parts together is a wing nut. I imagine it would take quit a bit of force to break this handle. If so it would be very easy to replace. Excellent design job.
