How does one accurately measure the depth of a target detected while shallow water hunting?
Even with a calibrateds shin bone, or scoop handle , couldn't a target be pulled lower as a result of suction created while digging, or just slide lower as you dig?

nice deep find ron. i metal detected with you a few years ago at the greyhound track and the next day at naples pier it was fun, good luck ron.
