Had a blast playing in the surf today at Vilano Beach. Temperature was a little brisk (around 60 degrees) but it warmed up a little as the morning progressed. No big finds but I am happy metal detecting even when I don't find much.

interesting looking shell....isn't nature beautiful!

I would take some 60 degree weather now and call it balmy. ;-)

I am doing a dive tomorrow and the forecast outside Toronto for tonight is for the air temp to drop below freezing. However, a little piece of gold would warm me up. Probably won't get into the water many more times (locally) this season. :-(

Looks like you were in the right spot for gold from the look of the lead sinkers.
