Got in four hours of wet sand hunting with Bigmike on the East coast. Was digging red and green dimes and quarters when I got a solid mid tone on my CZ21. I got the target on the third scoop and dumped the sand and spread it with my foot. I saw the silver colored ring and picked it up and washed it in the hole. That's when I saw the big 2 carat rock shining in the sun. I said "Whoaa, it must be white gold or platinum"...my ship came in...but it quickly sank when I saw the .925 mark. So looks like I got a silver ring with a big CZ....GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE.

My mom always told me that diamonds can be mounted in silver. Best get it checked if you don't have a checker.

Cz will be perfectly clear. Almost all diamonds will have little black spots inside called
Inclusions. Your pic looks like it has inclusions. Definitely get it tested

looking at some of the threads you've started it seems as if your camera attracts rings.....

My heart would have stopped when I saw that. A lot of people buy big diamonds and then cant afford that much on the ring so it may be real.
Great photos too. Cant tell if all those spots are inclusions or what, but please update after it tested.

The chances of it being real are about as good as finding a metal detector that can distinguish a gold ring from a pull tab. :laughing7: but there has to be a silver ring with a big diamond some where in the world...why cant it be mine. :laughing7:

Is that dirt on the surface of the stone that's showing up in the pics? Also the setting gives it a good chance of being real. Nice heavy prongs are a good sign. I got my diamond tester and precious metal acid kit from ebay for around $30 shipped. Definitely worth it. And hear is hoping it's real !!

I agree with Bob on those heavy prongs. All the junk rings I have found have junk light weight prongs. I would get that baby checked!

I agree with the above posters. The prongs are quality so it is well worth getting the stone checked. Might be your lucky day yet. Great conversation piece no matter what. That is one very large stone!!!

That baby has a good chance of being real. Good luck on the verdict.
