Bought these at Academy Sports store today. They look pretty decent for only $19.99. The sole is a lot more rigid than my Mares boots so should offer more foot protection when detecting in the lake. If you dont have one nearby, you can order them online. Magellan Outdoors neoprene wading boots.

Theyre 5mm neoprene upper. They are built so much tougher than the mares dive boots I have. The rubber on the bottom is much more rigid & thick and comes up on the side of the foot and over the toe.

I guess they're not really dive boots. But seem like they'll be great for wading, detecting and for putting your foot on a scoop.

Looks like some good cheap boots for detecting...I use a pair made by Deep See and they look just like those...the ones you posted will be my next pair...thanks.
