My first detector came in the mail yesterday and decided to take it out tonight on a late night beach hunt. The beach was completely empty except for a security guard who was happy I was there cleaning up the beach.

Here what I got tonight! Some clad, lots of nails and bottle caps, 4g and 1g sterling rings!!!, a couple nice shells, several pairs of flip flops, a football, tweezers, and some sort of movie prop(?) that I cant figure out what it is. (not pictured is the dozens of single use sun-screen packets that my detector picked up) I'd say this was a pretty successful first hunt ever! I was only out there for three hours and covered about 5% of the beach so I will have my work cut out for me and hopefully a lot more stuff to find!!

Lorriane, here are the pics. I am completely stumped. The pic on the right shows on end that says 'La Bonita'

Thanks for the close-up, Akol; I believe that this may be a lipstick holder.

I'm envious! Oahu? Being here in north Texas I can only imagine. Nice finds on the rings. In two years serious detecting, I've only found one silver ring, under a fishing pier. As said earlier, that should get you hooked.
