I will be in the Fort Lauderdale area in a couple weeks and will be bringing along my CZ 20 and a break down scoop.

I would really appreciate any tips regarding places to hunt, rules or regulations, safety concerns and what settings I should use with the CZ 20.

This is my first trip to the area and I have no experience in saltwater.

Thanks!!!

Come on down, before you come do some research on the areas around where you are staying, like hotels, public parks, and parking. Read this forum, there are plenty of tips.
The beaches are open to detecting, stay our of the water if it is rough, oh , there are a lot of detectors in use here day and night especially in the dry sand.

Bring a mask and snorkel, find the low lying areas especially rocks and shells collection areas. Treat it like no ones hunted there before and good luck. That's what I did when I was there and pulled these out of a 20x30 area. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1419996712.943396.jpg
