if you find my Jamaica post it explains it - was approached by 2 guys that worked at one beach
they wanted to see my gold - luckily I had the one gold found on my finger and they paid it no mind
they badgered me into showing them my finds - one palmed a tiny silver ring - I saw it on his finger and he made
like he dropped it back but didn't - was not gonna start a fight over it

I gotta ask.......One stolen ring?

Awesome video and very impressive year I'd say!

That's the way you do it! Doing the right thing will serve you well with good karma and work in your favour of a better ring to replace it. The ring he stole from you will only bring him bad luck. Just for a silver ring is not worth any hassle.

That's really impressive detecting, Casper!:notworthy:

Maybe see you on the beaches here in 2015:hello:

Watched your video and noticed we have a similar find (see attached pics). Found it south of Juno Pier, Florida. Any idea what it is?

Now I'm more baffled than ever, I was thinking maybe a silver button. Any guess on what language it is?

did you try and open yours?--think its Arabic or Indian - ive found other offerings over the yrs down there - little idols etc

No, I didn't. It's crushed flat with a lot of cracks, I think it would fall to pieces if I tried. (It does bring back a story that happened a few years back... I was checking the wet sand at the beach when I noticed a unique looking bottle in the seaweed line. When I looked closer, I saw a message in the bottle. I took it home to share with my wife. She opened it and read the note... It was from a grieving mother who had lost her son in a tragic accident. The message was to her son telling him how much she missed him and how sorry she was for how things had turned out. I felt like I had desecrated a grave. I quickly pushed the message back into the bottle, screwed the cap back on and drove back to the beach, went to the same spot and threw it back into the sea; luckily the wind was offshore and it floated off.) Maybe that's the other reason I don't want to open it up, guess I'm a little superstitious!

When I went in sept. - was not a planned trip - my parents rented a cottage and had plans fall thru at last minute and invited me out
the beach I hit and found my gold & silver at - you would have needed a mask and snorkel or better to get out to - I could only hunt it an hour before low till hour after before it got to deep to hunt - i may try diving it next year - I think there was an old time platform out there in early 1900s
